How we estimate
Each phone gets its chip's typical AnTuTu V11 score (the average across devices, not the best run). For every game we know the graphics score a chip needs to hold the game's frame-rate cap at low, medium and maximum settings. Below that, FPS falls with the square root of the score gap. The thresholds were fitted to about 140 measured results from phone reviews (median error about 7%).
FPS = Cap × min(1, (GPU score × Efficiency ÷ Needed score)^0.5)
Recommended = highest setting that holds ≥ 92% of the cap
High FPS mode = GPU score high enough AND display ≥ that FPS (approved models only)
- AnTuTu V11 scores: nanoreview.net SoC rating, cross-checked with AnTuTu's own ranking (October 2026). V10 and V11 scores can't be compared, so every chip uses V11.
- Measured game FPS: Notebookcheck, GSMArena, Android Authority and other phone reviews; games marked "few data" are estimated from similar games.
- Chips that game below their score (Tensor G2–G4, Exynos 2200, Kirin) and fanless iPhones and iPads get an efficiency factor.
- Device-level differences (cooling, RAM, software) aren't modelled; devices with the same chip get the same result.
- Which phones get 90/120 FPS options is decided by each game's approved-device list, so that column only says the chip is fast enough.
